A negative parenting style has been found to significantly influence the likelihood of smartphone addiction in chinese college students.

College students who perceived that their parents used an authoritative parenting style were found to be less lonely than those who perceived that their parents used a permissive parenting style.

Higher vitamin D levels at birth, as measured by cord blood, were found to be associated with higher language scores at 18 months and 4 years.

Responsive supportive parenting was found to interact with a dopamine receptor polymorphism to influence increases in the child's ability to self regulate.
